RIVTIN (Rivers State Tax Identification Number) is a number that uniquely identifies a taxpayer in Rivers State. Everyone who pays tax to the Rivers State Government in one form or the other is meant to have a RIVTIN.

You can obtain a RIVTIN in five (5) simple steps:

  1. Log on to www.rivtamis.riversbirs.gov.ng.
  2. Search for your name or company name.
  3. Register and Update your information.
  4. Confirm and Activate your account.
  5. Obtain your RIVTIN.

To access the tax portal, go to  www.rivtamis.riversbirs.gov.ng

  • On your web browser, go to www.rivtamis.riversbirs.gov.ng
  • Click on the USERS menu, then click REGISTER in the dropdown
  • Select your category (CORPORATE or INDIVIDUAL)
  • Enter the name of your organization in the search bar
  • Click the search icon to the right of the search bar
  • If you find your organization click it to update your details
  • If you don’t find the name of your organization click to register
It will take 24 hours for account activation.
