How do I make payments?
Payments can be made via any of the following methods:
- Card/Web payment
- Bank Branch
- Cash deposit
- Cheque deposit
- Internal transfer
What is RIVTIN?
RIVTIN (Rivers State Tax Identification Number) is a number that uniquely identifies a taxpayer in Rivers State. Everyone who pays tax to the Rivers State Government in one form or the other is meant to have a RIVTIN.
How do I obtain a RIVTIN?
You can obtain a RIVTIN in five (5) simple steps:
- Log on to www.rivtamis.riversbirs.gov.ng.
- Search for your name or company name.
- Register and Update your information.
- Confirm and Activate your account.
- Obtain your RIVTIN.
How do I register on the platform?
- On your web browser, go to www.rivtamis.riversbirs.gov.ng
- Click on the USERS menu, then click REGISTER in the dropdown
- Select your category (CORPORATE or INDIVIDUAL)
- Enter the name of your organization in the search bar
- Click the search icon to the right of the search bar
- If you find your organization click it to update your details
- If you don’t find the name of your organization click to register
